Grace project conclusion

After about 3 terms , the GRACE project finally comes to a close and it feels disappointing , as we have learnt different types of things and gain many types of different experiences to build teamwork . For our GRACE project we chose the topic on the awareness on global warming . Through this topic we learnt more on global warming like how the earth's temperature is steadily increasing and what would happen if we do not put a stop to this. A world-wide disaster would happen and we feel that it is only our duty to help promote awareness on global warming and start doing something as global warming will increase. In order to provide more awareness on global warming to others , we have created a poster to give a simple idea on what will happen if we don't start doing our part. We have also created a rap to talk about global warming. By using these fun and innovative ways, we hope that we will make the public be more aware of what are the consequences of global warming.

The team itself has not only gained experience but also the understanding between all of us and this has help in our friendship .Although we have oftened tried to shirk work to each other, i feel that each of us are individually quite responsible and that we wouldn't change groupmates even if we had a chance to choose group-mates because of this arrangement we were able to work in a different group and thus increasing in our teamwork gradually as it was different from the start and now.

Finally , i would like to thank my GRACE teacher , mrs tan for her help and support . Without this we would not be able to overcome all these obstacles on the way in order to finish our GRACE project successfully . The GRACE experience has been helpful and all of us has enjoyed it despite the difficulties.

GRACE project conclusion.

As we come to the end of our GRACE, we feel that through this experience, we have learnt many things and learnt to built team spirit. For our GRACE Project, we have done a project on the awareness of global warming. Through this project, we learnt a lot about global warming, such as stuff like how the earth's temperature is steadily increasing and what are the consequences if we did nothing to help. Other than just the work of GRACE itself, i have felt that the team itself has bonded much and become great friends especially after all that has happened. Lastly, I would like to thank our GRACE teacher, Mrs Tan for helping us through our troubles whenever we encountered a problem. We would not have been able to finish our GRACE project successfully without her help. The GRACE experience has been helpful and we have enjoyed ourselves.

2. Complete your product.
3. Complete your blog.
4. Complete your Powerpoint slides for your oral presentation.
5. Rehearse your presentation.
6. 2 minute video (To be uploaded on your group blog via Youtube) to present your project/product/concepts.


For the GRACE Exhibition

1. Poster of your project on a mounting board with a cardboard stand.
2. 1-2 minute short video clip to introduce your project on exhibition day. This will be projected on the stage screen.

For raising our awareness of the global warming, we are doing a rap and a poster. For the poster, we have decided that I will do the poster drawings while Reuben will do a research for us. Jordan will do the lyrics while Jonathon will do the music. By the next lesson, we will be showcasing our oral presentation. We have researched on google and i have found some posters which look interesting. Hopefully i will be able to get some ideas and com up with a good poster.

Dear Group 4,

Tasks to-do for this lesson (stay in class):

1. Discuss and assign tasks to individual members. (basically to do research on the information you need for your topic) Group leaders, please facilitate and set a deadline for everyone.

• you can look into what are some of the campaigns that s'pore has run to raise the public awareness on global warming.
• research on more information about global warming, eg. what are the causes and effects, the greenhouse gases, etc.
• how you want to create your posters, look for sample layout and design.
• look for samples for your rap or you may want to write out your own lyrics.
• how you want to present your final oral presentation and report.

2. Discuss and think about the final product (eg. presentation, posters, booklets, etc.) that you want to produce for your topic.

At the end of your discussion, each individual member is to post on the blog by this lesson a short write up on the tasks you are assigned to do and how are you going to carry out the tasks.

Each member, please do your research over this weekend and I will check on your individual progress next lesson.

For our week 7, we drafted survey questions and managed to complete making our final survey layout with the help of our teacher. For the march holidays, we will use the time to get survey results and hopefully the results are positive.
